About Dr. Gonzalez

Dr. Gonzalez came to PA after finishing his Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship at the University of Louisville, Louisville KY. He has completed extensive training in various aspects of cosmetic and reconstructive surgeries.

Originally from Mexico, after successful completion of medical school Dr. Gonzalez came to the US for his General Surgery Residency at West Virginia University where he was awarded the Upjohn Best Intern award in 1999. During his residency, he also participated as a Research Fellow in plastic surgery; his research focus included various aspects of plastic surgery, from reconstruction to diverse techniques in cosmetic surgery. Dr. Gonzalez’s work has been cited in multiple papers, articles and book chapters regarding a variety of Plastic Surgery topics.
